Hope you are all right. Ordinary kayakers would have just given up, after having been swallowed up by giant waves and getting bumped on the head. But that's not you, the man I got to know so well. In the end you will have nothing left. Seems my advice about cords.elastics for the sunglasses did not reach you. In the surf you should just paddle backwards when a big wave comes and in the valley of the wave you paddle towards shore. No matter how big the surf is, this is the way to go safe.
