Hi buddy, read your blog and can't help wonder in amazement the courage and the grit you displayed in overcoming all odds. Hope you are all right. Ordinary kayakers would have just given up, after having been swallowed up by giant waves and getting bumped on the head. But that's not you, the man I got to know so well. Swee, I pray continuously for your safety and those around you. God speed.

Well..dont loose all your stuff. In the end you will have nothing left.
Seems my advice about cords.elastics for the sunglasses did not reach you.

In the surf you should just paddle backwards when a big wave comes and in the valley of the wave you paddle towards shore. No matter how big the surf is, this is the way to go safe. And it's much better than knocking on a rock...but it's just a idea.

Keep on going. And paddle to the Metal.

Regards Jörgen
