I woke up at night – diarrhea. In the morning, diarrhea still persisted. I took 2 Immodium pills and drank lots of 100 Plus. I had to stop the diarrhea and regain my strength quickly to face another day’s challenge. Once I started kayaking, diarrhea stopped. Thank God for that.
The Habagat (southwest monsoon wind) strong & consistent. By 2.30pm, we had covered 36km and arrived at Don Marcelino. My map indicated the village to be another 6km away. We got to do more tomorrow.
We were hosted at Mayor’s property at beach front. We really need LGU (local government unit)’s help to stretch our shoe string budget.
Today’s accommodation is at the fish market where the fishermen bring their catch to clean & freeze.
The night was hot with lots of mosquitoes. I tossed and turned. A good night’s sleep is crucial to recovery.
