First of all good luck with your project.
I have been living many years in the Philippines and it's a kayak heaven.

I have been planning two years ago to do a little bit the same...but lack of finance made me stay and paddle overhere in Europe. Still my planning was around Mindanao and, kayak over to Negros (were i have been living) and then further north towards Cujo and Palawan.

I studied it intense and it can be done. Make sure you have the good charts and streamatlasses.

Then last year i did paddle overhere in Europe to do a 4200+Km trip to Moldova.

So if you need help or want to know things/advice. I am willing to help.
I know you will have lots of hands around you, still it's a offer.

Make sure you have everything tide on your deck. Also your pump and have elastics on your sunglasses as well..One wave and it will be all swept off.

I will follow you and good luck.

Regards Jörgen
